Ventec AOV LAM

Certified to BS EN 12101-2 with Re 300 smoke extraction reliability and B 300 resistance to 300°C. Opens in under 60 seconds for rapid smoke dispersal.

Scalable Free Area
Standard sizes deliver 1.26m² or 1.8m² geometric free area, with bespoke configurations available up to 9.5m² GFA for large-scale smoke ventilation requirements.
Horizontal and Vertical Installation
Suitable for installation angles from 0° to 90°. Standard horizontal roof mount includes aluminium wind deflector. Vertical facade mount available with optional rain shield.
Preassembled Delivery
Each unit is supplied preassembled for straightforward installation, with non-standard flange options available to suit various roofing and facade types.
Multiple Blade Options
Standard 1.25mm aluminium blades. Non-standard options include aluminium with XPS insulation, clear or opal polycarbonate in 16mm or 25mm thicknesses.
Flexible Width Configurations
Standard widths from 800mm (4 blades) to 3600mm (18 blades) with lengths in 200mm increments, enabling precise sizing for any structural opening.
Dual Purpose Reliability
Re 300 reliability for smoke extraction and Re 10000 for daily environmental ventilation, providing long-term operational dependability for both duties.

Why specify the Ventec AOV LAM

Smoke Ventilation. Certified to BS EN 12101-2 with Re 300 smoke extraction reliability and B 300 resistance to 300°C. Opens in under 60 seconds for rapid smoke dispersal.

Scalable Performance. From 1.26m² to 9.5m² geometric free area, the LAM scales to suit any project requirement. Standard sizes in stock for next day despatch, bespoke sizes on request.

Universal Mounting. Installs at any angle from horizontal to vertical. Turn-down flange suits a 150mm high, 90mm wide finished upstand. Custom flange widths from 70mm to 320mm.

Configuration options

Standard Size (1.26m² GFA). 1200mm(W) x 1400mm(L) structural opening. 6 blades. Aerodynamic free area 1.06m². Weight 46 kg. Current draw 0.8 amps.

Large Size (1.8m² GFA). 1200mm(W) x 2000mm(L) structural opening. 6 blades. Aerodynamic free area 1.53m². Weight 71 kg. Current draw 1.0 amps.

Custom Sizes (Bespoke). Min 500mm(L) x 800mm(W), max 2200mm(L) x 3800mm(W). Up to 9.5m² GFA. Non-standard sizes may not be tested to BS EN 12101-2.

Facade Installation (Vertical). Vertical LAM option with rain shield available on request for facade-mounted smoke ventilation applications.
