Anti Finger-Trapping
Motor is programmed with an anti finger-trapping safety function, preventing injury during louvre blade operation.
Smooth Operation
Louvre blades rotate on pivot bearings connected to a rack and pinion mechanism, ensuring smooth and synchronized blade movement up to 85° opening angle.

Why specify the VELO

Smoke Ventilation. Fully tested and certified to BS EN 12101-2 for smoke extraction. Reliability rated Re 1000 for smoke extraction duty with opening time under 60 seconds.

Energy Efficiency. Overall U-value as low as 1.9 W/m² K with double-glazed blades. Thermally broken frames with argon-gas filled cavity and low-E glass for exceptional thermal performance.

Dual Purpose. Delivers both daily environmental ventilation (Re 10000 rated) and emergency smoke control in a single unit, reducing the number of facade openings required.

Standard Frame (1.04m² GFA). 4-blade louvre window. 1150mm(W) x 1250mm(H). 286mm blade height. Aerodynamic free area 0.68m². Weight 47 kg.

Large Frame (1.5m² GFA). 6-blade louvre window. 950mm(W) x 2100mm(H). 331mm blade height. Aerodynamic free area 0.94m². Weight 67 kg.

Custom Sizes (Bespoke). Min 350mm(W) x 350mm(H), max 2500mm(W) x 6000mm(H). Non-standard sizes available on request — may not be compliant with BS EN 12101.
