Panel Overview
The O-Range 7 supports up to 7 independent zones, making it suitable for most residential block configurations. Each zone can control multiple vents and/or dampers independently. The panel includes an integrated battery backup module rated for 72-hour standby.
Wiring
All field wiring connections are made via clearly labelled terminal blocks. The panel accepts inputs from conventional fire alarm panels via volt-free contacts, from addressable systems via the integrated 2-wire interface, and from manual breakglass override units. End-of-line resistors are required on all vent circuits.
Commissioning
Commissioning should be carried out by a competent person in accordance with BS EN 12101-10 and the manufacturer's commissioning guide. All vents must be verified to open fully on zone activation, and battery backup operation must be tested under full load.
Maintenance
The O-Range 7 should be serviced at least annually in accordance with BS 9999. Service records must be maintained as part of the building's fire safety log. AOV Direct can arrange service visits through its network of approved service contractors.
